By fostering empathy, trust, and meaningful connections, I will help with the focus needed by creating safe spaces for growth and understanding, empowering others to overcome life’s challenges and unlock their full potential.

In the many roles I’ve had as an educator, I have been graced with countless impactful experiences in my 25 year career span. From the day I took my first steps as a teacher, I have immersed myself in supporting students and families with very diverse social, cultural, academic, and economic backgrounds. It was an enlightening opportunity to truly understand such concepts as empathy, reflective listening, and building a safe, trusting space. This was my introduction into what has become my passion as an educator; expanding and sharing knowledge about how and why we are influenced by life’s challenges.
